Live from Olympia Beauty

Today I am at the trade show – Olympia Beauty. It’s where new products are launched, press and professional therapists get the inside story on products for the coming year. I have picked a few hero launches that I really rate. Some spa related – mostly skincare. It’s new and its coming your way.

Elemis Pro Instense Lift Effect Super System

When they say super – they really mean it. Elemis has developed this new anti-ageing line to tackle ageing with plant stem cell technology. Harnessing the power of Centella plant (for firmness and tone) Gardenia plant, Lupin, Camelina oil and Arjuna Bark – this is a highly charged intense treatment that was 3 years in development and promises to re-energise and protect the skin cells at the epidermal layer. There is also a night cream to accompany this launch.

Dermalogica Clear Skin

The name says it all and its a straight forward skin care line for younger skin, that is simple to understand and easy to use. I like the packaging, the concept and each product is designed to be effective and kind to the skin.

Sothys Energizing Range

This is part of a wider launch of Sothys Energizing skincare range with a new spa treatment and a day and night cream, this harnesses the power of siberian ginseng which is both anti-ageing and hydrating. I’m a big fan of Sothys and have a pot of the day cream to trial and will report back later.

I love the packaging of this natural skincare and body range. No harmful chemicals, packed with active ingredients and all-in-one products that are super-multi-tasking. This is definitely one to watch.

sienna X

sienna X Q10 Bronzing Mousse

Tanning Expert James Harknett tells me that this product is excellent for home use as the mousse formula is infused with Q10 which is anti-ageing, but it’s also very easy to apply, smells of blackcurrant and pomegranate and dries easily. Who could want for more than that?

Advanced Nutrition Programme Skin Vit A

This is a super-supplement for great skin. Contains optimal levels of retinyl palmitate, which is a form of vitamin A that’s easily absorbed by the body and is great for healthy skin.
