This week I visited Provence for the very first time as a guest of Terre Blanche – a hotel resort boasting 2 golf courses and destination spa. Perfectly situated with views across the countryside, impeccable staff, stunning villas and suites, the most incredible food and a fabulous spa. The superlatives could go on. My full spa review will follow in a few weeks but I wanted to share a visual postcard from Provence first.
My stay included a trip to neighbouring villages in the Pays de Fayence region including Fayence and Seillans. Each set high on the hill, these offer great views across the valley and area.
Here is where I spent a few happy hours lazying by the pool at Terre Blanche – with views across Pays de Fayence.
Highlights of the trip included a visit to Seillans – a village of around 2,500 people that boasts winding narrow streets, little coutryards to eat or enjoy a coffee break in the sun. We were treated to a tour of the village by the Mayor and dined in the Restaurant at Hotel des deux Rocs. www.hoteldeuxrocs.com.
The food was divine, the hotel was quirky and great for a night or two.
And not forgetting the spa at Terre Blanche – all 3,200 sqm of it. Review to follow.
