Electric shavers are a great gift for the hard to buy for Dad, brother or brother-in-law. Whilst I tend to wet shave most of the time, when I travel (with hand baggage) an electric shaver will travel with me in the cabin, whilst a blade often gets confiscated. So, for a short haul hand baggage only trip, it’s an electric shaver for me.
So, I got to try the Philips PT920 PowerTouch Pro Shaver from John Lewis. Charge it fully in just 1 hour (bonus), to enjoy up to 60+ minutes of cordless power (which means you can walk around, drink your tea and watch TV whilst you shave). What’s quite cool is that when you forget to re-charge, there’s a 3 minutes quick charge provides enough power for one shave.
Adjusting to the contours of your face it’s designed to give a really close shave – and I can confirm that’s very true. Nice to hold, good clean finish and all-in-all it’s a good shaver.
When it comes down to the nitty gritty, I want an elelctric razor that easy to use, easy to clean and can trim and shape my facial hair. It’s these features that really tick the boxes for me
- It’s fully washable
- There’s a patented dual-blade system that lifts hairs to cut even closer
- It has a full-width, pop-up precision trimmer which means you can shape and style your moustache, side burns or beard.
