Review: Ajala Spa

THE SPA: A city day spa situated in a health club, that’s part of the Five Star Grange Hotel in the City of London (right by St Paul’s Cathedral). The spa itself is part day spa, part hotel spa. It’s modern and well appointed and features a relaxation room, drink on arrival (juice, tea, water) and lots of staff around and on hand to help. The water facilities are part of the gym and health club, there’s a pool (you can do laps) jacuzzi, tepidarium, sauna and steam room. But be warned, this is the pool and health club for the hotel and children are allowed so it’s not always going to be the relaxing post-spa chill-out you would expect from a spa oriented location. I did enjoy my post-treatment swim and the change facilities are all new and really smart. THE TREATMENT: I decided to go for a signature treatment – but something completely different that I normally choose and picked the Sole Re-energizer Massage – which is an hour long foot massage. It …
