Spring has its great sides, certainly, but it’s also loaded with shortcomings, particularly in relation to health. The changing temperatures, stress, pressure changes, along with several other elements that accompany the season make for a perfect playground for flu and other common health mishaps. Five of the best face soaps for men

The Spa Man has gone green with a round-up of five of the best face soaps for men. Ditching the plastic packaging, soaps are an eco-friendly way to cut down on excess packaging, whilst keeping your skin clean, fresh and refreshed. These huge concentrations of plastic debris cover large swaths of the ocean; the one between California and Hawaii is the size of the state of Texas.   Every minute, one garbage truck of plastic is dumped into our oceans.   The amount of …

OHMME has partnered with CALM to run a series of workshops for men which launch in February 2018. CALM is the Campaign Against Living Miserably, and exists to prevent male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. In 2015, 75% of all UK suicides were male. On average that equates to 12 men per day taking their own lives. CALM runs a range of services to support any man who is having a rough time and campaigns that challenge society’s ideals of masculinity. It does some incredible work helping guys to open up, to talk and to confront their fears and problems. Vital work in tackling the huge issue of male suicide. The #StillnessInMotion are workshops have been specifically created for men by Jonty (from the charity), to help dispel societal stereotypes of masculinity, that men should be tough, ‘just deal with it’, and ‘man up’. The workshops are being launched to offer space for men to explore these pressures, in a civilisation that frowns upon men asking for help. They …

Paul says…. Women are attracted by practicing mindfulness more but things are changing and more men are starting to see the benefits of integrating mindfulness in their daily life. Paul Joseph, co-founder of Health and Fitness Travel, the leading specialists in tailor-made wellness holidays worldwide looks at 5 reasons why men should give mindfulness a good attempt and embrace the challenge. The art of mindfulness focuses the thinkers’ attention on their inner thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Men should practice mindfulness to re-focus their minds, to achieve inner balance and stability, with a mindfulness retreat being a relaxing opportunity for those looking to re-connect with their mind and body. Attempting to balance the pressures of home and work life can result in a stressed emotional state, so practicing mindfulness will help men to remain calm, support …
