The Spa Man’s favourite: exfoliating cleansers

Cleansers come in all shapes and sizes and the men’s market has produced some excellent ones in the past year or so. They combine the benefits of a cleanser, usually with micro-exfoliation particles – giving you a gentle scrub and an effective cleanse too. Here are my favourites.

Exfoliating-Cleanser Clarins

Clarins Men Exfoliating Cleanser

An award winning launch from Clarins Men, the 2 in 1 exfoliating cleanser is creamy, smooth and peppered with micro-beads to gently exfoliate the skin. It’s soap-free and helps reduce the drying effects of hard water on the skin. Refreshing and simple to use in the shower, this one deserves the accolades it’s been getting.

125ml – £21

exfoliating cleanser - trilogy

Trilogy for Men Face Wash and Scrub

Yes, it combines a face wash and a scrub, but it’s really an exfoliating cleanser. Creamy, soft and a great one to have in the shower. It doesn’t strip the skin of essential oils and leaves it feeling clean and smooth. Contains zinc, copper and magnesium to boost the skin. It’s natural and comes from New Zealand. Winner.

150ml – £15.32

Sothys Energizing_Face_Cleanser - web

Sothys Homme Energizing Face Cleanser

A less well-known brand but brilliant nonetheless. Creamy consistency with micro-particles that are so fine you hardly notice them. It’s not an aggressive scrub, it’s light, mild and excellent used at night to clean away the dirt and grime of the day. For the full review of Sothys Homme Energizing Cleanser click here
